From the White House to the Sushi House...

Another fine day in the USA! B^)

I awoke fairly early, in preparation for a White House tour with some other people who had accepted Bravery and Valour awards at the Department of the Interior's 65th Convocation. Once again, Greg Lawler very capably handled all the logistics of the eventĀ for us. Nice work Greg! =^]

The White House (and garden) are beautiful. It's much smaller than one might think...and stunning in terms of simplicity. I like it.

I'll include some more images in a future blog entry.

Immediately following the White House tour, I headed over to the CTV studio of Washington DC and did a little interview on Canada AM. I'll post that video in a future blog entry too. We talked about the Rainier incident of September 2007...and the Award I had received as a result of my involvement.

Mike 'Gator' Gauthier and I cruised the mean streets of Washington before jumping on the Metro and heading for Ronald Reagan National airport. A 5.75 hour flight took us from the sunny District of Columbia to the rainy city of Seattle.

Chris was waiting at the airport...and before I knew it...the entire Secret Spot Denali Team was together! Sushi was in order!

Now it's time to get rigged for Secret Spot Denali!

Until Soon
