Talkeetna!
We finally made it to Talkeetna! B^)
After an exceptional briefing with Ranger Roger Robertson, we hooked up with Mike 'Gator' Gauthier and posed with our new Zulu 9 gear. The stuff is awesome. Many thanks to the Zulu 9 folks!

A visit from Gator
We've packed all our goodies into manageable sizes...weighed it all out...and now we await that window of opportunity to get on the Kahiltna glacier. Our gear weighed in at 623 pounds...most of which is food. We are going to eat like kings...after hauling the grub around like donkeys. =^]

Enjoying the Zulu 9 gear
I'm going to call into the Loose Cannons today at 3:25pm pst...unless we are in a plane at that very moment. Time will tell...=^]
We've got a couple of weeks to make an assault on Mount McKinley (Denali). We will have to move at a slightly more accelerated pace than we usually do...which will be good for our collective characters. I can't wait to be living completely outside for a while.
You can continue to virtually climb with us by subscribing to this very blog by using the links to the left. Super Fly Scott Stanko is going to update this blog each time I do a live dispatch. He'll also post today's Loose Cannons interview here on the blog...for those of you who don't listen to it via the live stream at www.am570radio.com . Cool. B^)
Until Soon
