We are so ridiculously snowed in at High Camp (17,200ft/5244m)...but the howling winds have stopped! We are going to now muster our collective energies and dig the domicile from the wreckage and pack up...or so we think. =^]

Snowed right in at High Camp

The long ridgewalk/downclimb/snowtrudge to the 7200ft Kahiltna glacial air strip begins!

There are only 14 miles(22.4km) and 10000 vertical feet(3049m) to tackle to get to a place where a bush plane on skis can magically transport us back to civilization! Hopefully the weather improves at the lower elevations...as it's been kind of 'snarky' down there...and they haven't been able to fly.

This storm has already ruined our chances of 'summitting'...or me making some important(to me) engagements in Alberta. Que sera sera. =^{

Every cloud has a silver lining...I just might have to search doubly hard for this one. =^]

Onwards and downwards...New Mexico awaits! B^)
