Kathmandu!! B^)
Here I am...at last...comfortably ensconced at the
Kathmandu Guest House! I'm VERY, very pleased to be here. This location
holds some of my most cherished memories. It would even be better if I
was re-living them with the same people right now. They know who they
are...and love goes out to them...always. =^)

It was pouring rain when I got here...but hopefully the Monsoon is about to leave for good?! =^]
Dawa, and a host of other KTMers greeted me at the airport...and life was instantly beautiful! B^)

Dawa and Phill in Kathmandu on September, 29th, 2008
In the space of an hour I met with about 30 people who greeted me on sight and knew my name. It feels like home. =^]
There was no power or internet here all day or night...and at 5am on Tuesday morn...there still isn't. I am now logging on via my HP iPac...but the internet is unbelievably slow! %^/
At least I can get this dispatch out and onto our server. Technology is good...when it works!
The city is totally, absolutely quiet...except for the birds and monkeys!
Now begins the rigging for the Tilman Trek. Dana and Caroline land today...and we will be frigging in the rigging...there is no doubt about it. =^]
Stay tuned...
Until Soon
Phill =^)
