Here are some images from Thursday, October 30th...from the summit of Mera Peak. (6476m/21241ft)
We could not have asked for a more beautiful day to climb! B^)

You can refer to a previous dispatch/blog entry to listen to a live voice recording from the summit of Mera Peak.
I made two calls from the summit. One voice dispatch to Scott's voicemail and one to THE Queen. =^]

We were able to clearly see all sorts of lofty peaks and it was quite satisfying to feel so purely fortunate. B^]
I'm uploading this dispatch from a 'lakeside' location. Frozen lake. We are enjoying a rest day at a very remote spot..en route to the near 20000ft Amphu Lapste La Pass.
I'll do separate dispatches about how we've spent our time since Mera...later today.

Dawa, Dana and Caroline on the summit of Mera Peak
I hope you are virtually enjoying climbing in the Himalayas with us via the dispatches at www.secretspoteverest.com and/or my blog!?
If you have not subscribed...you should...right now. I invite you. =^)
