Sheerto Pokari...16500ft
3 Nov, 08 - 04:19
It's cheesy omelets on a Monday morning at Sheerto Pokari ('White Lake' in Nepali).
Sunday was a lovely day of Rest, Sour Cream and Onion Pringles, Scrabble...and Reeeee-charging. We needed it.
We can see the south face of Nuptse and Lhotse from this camp...and the summit of Everest is just peeking over Lhotse.

Looking south from Sheerto Pokari Camp
We've got to hit the trail immediately...as it's another steady day of climbing to 5300m(17500ft). We need to mentally and physically prepare ourselves for tackling the Amphu Lapste Pass on Tuesday. While some of you will be riveted to a screen...watching the US election...we'll be clawing our way up steepish rock to near 20000ft. Joy. B^]

I'll let you know how our day goes...so please let me know how your day goes...as I'll be very interested...=^]
