Phill Michael brings the latest in expedition and education technology to the children of remote Nepal

They say good things take time. It is true...like water is wet...and wine is good for you. =^P

We've just put a placeholder at www.sherpaschool.ORG .You should check it out.

SherpaSchool.ORG

The project was conceived by Dawa and I during the latter part of his whirlwind tour of the USA in August 2008. We sat on the roof of the Mosler lofts...on a sunny Seattle Day...and I asked Dawa what I could do for his community. He said, "Make a school".

It sounded like a good idea at the time...and I have a tendency to run with ideas...so it is happening. B^]

If you are subscribed to the Secret Spot Seven Summits blog, you will be able to virtually meet the small Sherpa community that is benefiting from our actions...this April!! Subscribe and be a part of it! B^)

I'm about to blast off to a Nepalese lakeside location for some exploration and enjoyment. B^]

The mini-Time Machine loves the backroads of Nepal

In less than two months, I'll be on the shores of Big Lake, Alaska, USA...watching the midnight sun set over 'the High One'. A Denali Traverse will be beckoning us...and we will be answering her with enthusiasm. If you read these dispatches regularly...then you'll soon be climbing North America's highest peak. It's going to be great to have YOU on our team! B^)

You can check it all out at www.secretspotalaska.com and/or follow along at www.phillmichael.com.

Presently, I'm roaming with BGAN technology that keeps me constantly connected...from anywhere. Thanks always goes out to Eric at the SatellitePhoneStore.com for that equipment. I'll be doing live video conferencing from Dawa's village in April. Blog subscribers get to be a part of that...as long as they download Skype. (www.skype.com) I suggest YOU do it now. What on Earth are you waiting for?!?! =^]

Another item that really keeps things rolling along is the HET Power 50. That is one of the items that makes up a quiver of expedition technology that Tom Sjorgen at HumanEdgeTech.com developed. Tom! Thanx for the innovative products. I'd be powerless without them. =^]

The mini-Time Machine says,"Let's go!"...so I'm about to cruise on the chaotic and exotic roads of what was the last Hindu Kingdom on Earth!

What do I mean by chaotic?! Well...when this dispatch gets mirrored in the blog(www.phillmichael.com) you can see a video of the type of traffic I am about to deal with. =^o  Click below to watch the video!
