Well...they say a picture says one thousand words...so this dispatch is going to be more about the images...and less about the text.
I'm in Urgen's house (Dawa's father) that you see in the bottom image of this dispatch...enjoying some electricity..for the first time in three days! =^o

I had to resort to pen and paper for everything...and have managed to fill quite a few pages. Assuming I can get things charged up on a dally basis, I should be able to convert my 'scribblings' into some decent dispatches. The Super Fly Stanko brothers will be mirroring my daily musings in the Secret Spot Seven Summits blog (www.phillmichael.com) ...so you will be able to virtually build the SherpaSchool.ORG with us...as well as plan for a Denali Traverse! B^)

The last three days have been all about connecting with the people of 'Shangri La' and discussing the building of the school. I'm heading down to the site in a few hours to do some surveying...and of course...more talking...and laughing. I'll also meet many more students. I am pleasantly surprised with how the whole community is really coming together to make this a reality.

Later this week, you will start to see some images and bio data of the children that will be positively influenced by all our hard work.
We are going to make a call to Team Phuri today and see if he has been admitted to the Heart Centre yet. I hope so. I'll keep you posted...
