Skype Video-conferencing in Sherpa Country! B^)
It was a beautiful Thursday morning in Sherpa Country! B^)
Eric Talman of the Satellite Phone Store and I connected by Skype (www.skype.com) via the BGAN satellite Modem. The Dell Mini Inspiron was mating with the Hughes 9201...wirelessly! B^)

It's time to head a little higher. I'm on a Mountain High here at 9000ft. The little Fishy knows what I mean...=^]
We are going to head up to Pike Pass...the cheese factory...THE Monastery...and probably the summit of Pike Peak (over 4000m/13120ft).
It will take a few days to cover that ground...but we should be back to Urgen's on Sunday...as we need to get back to KTM by mid-next week to be part of Team Phuri.
I distinctly remember taking this picture 20 months ago and promising myself I would video-conference from here one day...=^]
I'll have my expedition communications technology with me for this coming excursion...so I'll be beaming sweet goodness at YOU daily.
