Looking into the Future
Facebungler(aka Facebook)...it's a door to the future...and an invasion of privacy...all at once!
Seldom do many of us choose to open the door that leads to our being. Sounds scary...doesn't it?!
Well...it doesn't sound scary to me. Fear is the greatest limiter.
I'm new to this social networking phenomenon...and I'm not sure what to think quite yet?!
We've created a profile at Facebook...just search for 'Phill Michael' and you'll see a picture of Chris Stanko and I enjoying14000ft camp on Denali's West Buttress in June 2008. We're always collecting content for SecretSpot.TV. Right at this moment...I'm making some major adjustments to my Time Machine while Chris cavorts at Comic Con. Wow...that is some unintentional alliteration! =^o

We offer our thoughts, triumphs and frustrations in a public setting...hoping that we can connect with like-minded people. Do we post the happenings to boast about our 'successes' and 'failures'...or to virtually bring other folks into a world of beauty, turmoil,challenges, pain, suffering, Love, energy, practicality, fantasy,family, solitude, principle, solace, positivity, negativity...the list goes on...
It's the latter. =^]
Maybe I'm just rambling...or maybe I'm hoping to inspire others to be more charitable while they struggle to succeed?!
If we just live for ourselves, we miss out on important processes...and tend to think the world is only as big as what we can see from our respective zones of comfort.
The Future is happening right now!
I suppose it's all a matter of perspective...and how we choose to view this crazed global community that we are all a part of? We are no longer living in isolation that is limited by communication...since the future is right now. We're living in the world of science fiction that I read about as a child!

Should we put our heads down and ignore our qualities that separate us from animals...or should we embrace the madness and all try to contribute to a more positive world view!?
It's not 'Us and Them' after all. It's just 'US'. I dare you to tell me that it's any other way than that. =^]
I've roamed the Earth...connecting with people. I don't mean partying at the Hard Rock Cafe...or 'trancing out' at the Funky Buddha in Kathmandu...but I mean making a difference in small communities that need support. I mean recognizing the difference between having a small footprint...and leaving a footprint. One can do both and still have a very beneficial effect...for everyone! =^)
