Phill and the Time Machine at Vallantine Motorworks in September 2007
Monday was a holiday in Alberta, Kanadia...Family Day. Good idea. =^)
The last week has seen me reacquaint myself with my Edmonton Home. It's been a long while (like nine months!)...and there is plenty to do...but there always is...
The Time Machine awaits a good massage in the Mongoose's Cave in June 2009...with the Mongoose presiding! =^o
The garage has been cleaned...the Time Machine is operational...and I'm basking in the glory of a difficult job that feels well done. Que bueno!
I'll have to do a blog that just deals with the hardships of lining up sub-frame bolts. You have no idea. Picture a 800lb motorcycle hanging from a roof...just to get a heavy part to mate with the frame. Yes...it was that silly! %^|
Mick Vallantine and Phill Michael at The George in September 2007
Many thanks go out to Mick and Colin at Vallantine Motorworks for the phone support (since I was determined to do the work without a manual)...and many more thanks go out to Daryl Snethen for wrestling with the bike frame to get those last sub-frame bolts in! B^)
We're burning the 'Joy' incense...which reminds me of other places and other times. A smile magically stretches across my face and I am reminded that we should all count our blessings...no matter who we are and how we roll. =^]

Linda and Steve Frisina flow the Positive with their prayer flags
Steve and Linda are in Tennessee...pleased with their own good fortune. They have received their prayer flags. Linda said that she was hit with a wave of pure positive energy when she opened the package. Mission accomplished!
Those are the same prayer flags that flew near Gorakhani in May of this year...flags that flew to honor Phuri and his heart surgery...flags that saw him through his own 'Perfect Storm'.
The prayer flags fly on Peekay Peak (14,000ft) on the day of Phuri's surgery...May 5, 2009
I'm pleased to report that Phuri is beaming with each Nepali dawn...his quality of life being vastly improved by medical technology.
Prayer flags flutter in the breeze at THE Monastery
Speaking of Technology...the Time Machine is about to transport ME towards YOU! Beware...and enjoy! B^]
Mmmmm...the Alberta Elk meat is cooking...tender and succulent. Daryl is making it so. The future will bring more meat...as a 2009 Alberta Meat harvest is slated for execution. It's been some time since the Edmonton freezer was fed...
You can share in the hunt by subscribing to the Secret Spot Seven Summits blog (www.phillmichael.com)! I invite you! =^)
It's as simple as putting your email address in the subscribe field on the top left hand side of this page! =^)
I had better go eat...=^P
Until Soon
Phill =^)
