Tempus Fugit! (Time flies!)
I took a short break from reloading the Secret Spot Tilman Trek 2008 to make my way down to Orange County, California, USA...then Baja Califiornia Norte, Mexico...and now back to Irvine for US Thanxgobbling! =^P
On our way south, we managed to visit with Mary at www.virgomoon..com ... and spend a night sleeping on one of my favorite beaches...where, almost thirty years ago, a freighter beached itself. I actually forgot to take a picture of the boat in its current condition during this last trip...but the video (that we released in February of yesteryear) at www.secretspot.tv does a good job of displaying what I mean. You can check it out by clicking on the play button below and/or downloading it to view.
SecretSpot.TV 'Brothers in Arms' Baja Video

Steve, Phill and Chris chow down in Northern Baja

Phill enjoys Fireside Chicken Mole

Dog footprints in our car. They must have been looking for more Carne Asada! =^P
We also drove up to over 9000ft to see an unobstructed night sky...and to scope out a 10000ft+(3000m+) peak I'd like to ascend. El Picacho del Diablo. Soon it will happen. B^]

A remote Baja peak that is 10135ft(3090m) tall...as we viewed from about 9000ft

So we busted into the Observatory at 9000ft(2744m)...commando style. There's a 6ft(2M) telescope in there! B^]

That's a big telescope! =^o

Campfire at 8500ft at a Secret Spot! B^)

We enjoyed an exceptional night sky in a pine forest from about 8500ft! B^]
We'll return to virtually climbing Mera Peak(6476m/21241ft) in Nepal...tomorrow...but for now...I hope you have been satisfied by enjoying some images and video from the mysterious Mexican peninsula that has managed to captivate me for most of my adult life.

Mera Peak(6476m/21241ft) in Nepal...as I saw it from Khare, Nepal on October 26, 2008
