The Launch of 'Tales from Secret Spots'!! B^)

I often take time to reflect upon the past and ask myself if I've worked hard enough to connect with every single person on the earth. The answer will always be 'No!'. I'll never be truly satisfied...or so I think.

A ten year reunion can certainly re-affirm one's values! =^)

How does one spread Love and Peace...and still remember what it is to have balance and occasionally indulge in behavior that doesn't exactly define altruism?! As a human...it's challenging to avoid human nature. How do we love others without loving ourselves?! We can't.

It's a lovely life....that flows like a river. If you don't share that view...then I suggest getting outside of your comfort zone and see for yourself.

Is there one formula for true happiness?! Probably not. The formula I like to always consider is as follows...

Inspiration
Vision
Calculation
Commitment
Teamwork
Success

Steve, Caroline Ang , Dana Engler , Chris Stanko and Phill Michael ...members of the Secret Spot Seven Summits Team enjoy a 'Feast of Kanadia' to celebrate a New Era in August 2010!

I've found that the best way to be truly satisfied is to take collective experience and wisdom...and pass it on to others. There is nothing more fulfilling than living one's dreams and helping others achieve their dreams. Reminding oneself that everything is indeed impermanent also speeds along the journey. Sure...we often feel we need our earthly goods to take us to 'the next level'...but it's actually losing attachment to those things that makes us whole.

Phill Michael and Chris Stanko raise a glass to the future while in Baja California Sur, Mexico in March 2004!

Have I always thought this way?! I just looked at a SecretSpotBaja newsletter from a little over 6 years ago. i.e. http://www.secretspotbaja.com/newsletters/may2004newsletter.html

I guess I have thought along those lines for a while...=^]

Looking back at the myriad of challenges I faced in my own short life is when I feel truly blessed. What could be better than rising to the occasion...and trying to make the impossible look effortless?! What could be better than crushing a negative force with pure positivity. Nothing.

There are a great deal of challenges in any journey...at least there should be. Mediocrity will always try to destroy Genius...and as I mentioned in that Baja newsletter...Misery loves company. It's a shame that Misery and its cronies can't live in another dimension that has no effect on OUR reality, but I suppose we need the balance to be real. =^]

More celebrations of the New Era with good people in late August 2010!

At the dawn of this New Era, I'm finally hard launching this Tales from Secret Spots blog . Roughly once a month, you can virtually enjoy a past adventure with us...and consider your own adventures. I'm talking about adventures in the kitchen or garden...as much as adventures in the mountains or rivers.

We'll give some empirical insight into the natural world around us. I hope that sounds enticing to you. If it does...please subscribe to this blog...so that each time a 'Tales' blog entry is made, you will get notification in your email.

If all this doesn't sound enticing...well...go watch some more television...and continue to let your brain be slowly sucked out of your head...as if through a straw. =^]

Enjoy!

Until Soon
