Dear Phill,

Just couldn't let Jan 29th go by without sending you acknowledgements of your Freestyle birthday! The world is a better place for you in it and I am grateful. To that end, I have to share a "Path to Peace" quote. It resounds of you and your Sherpa School ---http://www.amtbweb.org/tchquote.php

With much joy and gratitude, CVH

Thanks for your positive SecretSpot blog today, Phill. Our prayer flags continue to be a ready source of positive energy and spiritualism. They are in our front foyer, right outside of my office, and they are a constant reminder of all things good. You, Phuri, and others are always in our thoughts and prayers.

And I don't think I've mentioned this to you, but when I opened the flag package upon their arrival, I seriously felt a great deal of a rare positive energy and spirit....incredible.

Looking forward to seeing you next time!

Linda and Steve

Awwwww...Hi Phill, Ron, Rosemary, and Chris! I'm just catching up on the last 4-5 blogs and had to comment on this one- love the group picture (and the impermanence doctrine!). And having you and the Stankos in my life...the world is truly 'without boundaries'. I feel so blessed, to be able to keep in touch, and following along in your world travels has been amazing.

You have brought me parts of the world that I'll never see, and to people that I feel as if I know. You have given me the opportunity to 'meet' Dawa and his family, and to pray for Phuri as he had life saving heart surgery. And as always, the ability to keep your well being and safety in mind.

Steve and I were thinking of you, as we just returned from a great week in Jackson Hole, WY under the shadow of the 'diminutive' Grand Tetons! (13,770').

We hope to be clinking glasses with you at the Claim Jumper before too long!

Phill, not too graphic. It is most thrilling to know he is alive and thriving.

The song is great!!! I am happy & sad for you - going home but leaving KTM . Thank you for sharing these Secret Spots, especially from this adventure. I have the Rhododendrons from the mountain side as my new screen saver, and I visit that beautiful and peaceful spot many times during my busy work day.

Thanks too for the photos you include in your blogs. Dawa's JOY shines through in the first picture below! Yours does too - even in that traffic!

I cannot thank you AND YOUR TEAM enough for your website, blogs, creativity and passion that brings Secret Spots to us travelers currently deskbound, or otherwise not able to explore at this time.

I remain your joyously grateful Medtronic CV LifeLine buddy, CVH

Yo Mr. M your presence in North America is sorely missed but your activities in Asia are exponentially more valid. Sorry I never hit the Skype lottery with you but I am sure we can recoup that loss in the near future.

I can't express how awesome it is to be able to track you via the interwebs and vicariously experience your journeys and your PHILLanthropy.

Safe and happy trails my friend. I hope to see you soon.

Dude
